I’m A BADASSE! "

My focus is using technology to solve the PLM and business issues faced by creative design sector! In simple language I walk creative entrepreneurs through the adoption adaptation and integration of new media and technology. I’m an Artist, designer and product developer.  That interest has translated into  programs that have “tested theories through practice’  ... I developed a unique creative entrepreneurial training program that effectively shows results. On I dare I began exploring the establishment of a virtual creative incubator www.282AC.com has since emerged into a virtual Incubator, and  an Artist  Collective, exploring coworking and virtual enterprise networks while  assisting designers across the
globe via technology!

I have 30 years In fashion and design advocacy. I planned my first international trade show in TT in 86/87 and in 2006 was tapped
to design and product  a Fashion Trade show for The Black Church Means Business that saw 6 businesses in 2 years access Macy's buyers! This year we launch the Brooklyn Fashion Film Festival as an online platform for international designers to show and sell their products, primarily to the NY Market!

My teenage son describes me as a geek. I am more of an enthusiastic Digital Alien. I'm smack in the middle the Fashion Tech Evolution emerging in NY, while at the same time wrapping up a seven year project that explores creative entrepreneurship! The daughter of a computer programmer and a dressmaker… You can say I was born for fashion technology… but I hate to code with  a passion!  I now run , virtual support program, helping creative individuals, utilize new and
emerging media and tools to set up independent businesses.

I also curate, Brooklyn Fashion Gallery an online gallery that extends offline, providing a venue for designers, artist and entertainers to connect to Buyers, Boutiques, Shoppers, Bloggers, Press and Fans and I am in the final stages of designing a virtual platform, for designers to access trade opportunities.. using  video!

My formal design education was at Fashion Institute of Technology but I  count my apprenticeships from Dressmakers Designers and Boutique owner from across the Globe as Equally important!  #0 Years in the creative custom on demand side of the Fashion Sector and have been involved in the  technology  of creativity for the last  seven…

I am passionate about the art of making, the process of making, the joy of making, the business of making and how emerging technology affects the joy, art process and business of making!

AS I SEE IT until "IDEAS" are tested in real business situations they are simply "THEORIES
