The Badasse and BS of Taking Responsibility For One's Actions

Bs

I am taking local businesses Global and bring Global  businesses local. BADASSE- you have to meet teh  needs of teh consumer you serve The BS - you hav eto be authentic to  your "Brand", your belief and  take responsibility!

The vision is mine and has been  since Russian  designer Alexander Seriminoff  contacted me in 2005! His message was simple we have the same challenges you do, 'Help Us'!

Currently  apart from designers across the US I work  one on one with designers  in the Caribbean, African  and France! they sell and are in demand  for shows! I've been reviewing the seven year Fashion tech exploration i did!  I have huge challenges- I looked at articles on emerging  fashion tech  trends... that is not the sector I serve! Do not get me wrong  I love the traction... but  they  do not address the  issues withing the sector I specialize in!

The concept of Brooklyn Fashion Week and Brooklyn Fashion Film Festival  work but  designers did not have stock fro mass market! I know that You can take product straight top a buyer and save the cost! I know you can sell  clothing directly  from "shoppable media"!  The Fashion  workshops I run are excellent ... So how do you scale for profit  with a sector that is so  Independent  when the selling  point is their independence!

These are Not the designers discussed in Fashion Tech  circles... They  are Master Independent designers (as opposed to the emerging indie sector) They abhor poor quality and are careful where they hang... you won't find them on Etsy!  They are artist and artiste, gifted, skilled,   stubborn  and proud... they have great "story" and "brand" potential!

I love them and I love the work they  do... and so do MANY!

but they will NOT  give up  control of their designs the crowd... so crowd sourcing design is out!! They are NOT  selling at  70% OFF (they never have left over stock!) so flash  sales and discount sites are out!  They  have no need to they practice Fair Trade! They respect their customers privacy... so  social commerce is a challenge!  They specialize in fit  so current  3D fitting apps and distance sales are out!

Like i said I have a huge challenge!

I think in images!

Whenever I'm stuck I open  a graphic program and start pulling a collage  together! Eventually a clear picture emerges of what I want or need to do! The above image is the latest evolution ...  so what  do I have ...and how to I bring this sector into the  Fashion tech evolution!

I need to design technology that suits their need... I've known that for a while... but i really  did NOT want to! But  seven  years and every  damn app still falls short! Seriously why do you need 300 apps to function!

I  do a lot; I've done a Iot since 2003,  i  want  simplicity  and functionality!

It's easy to  use  "We' but in the end  it's personal accountability that  gets things done!  Execution is Key  many  claim they  do and in the end NOTHING is done...

Last December I FINALLY got a chance to work on some of my personal  projects and I continued into the New  Year; revising  repositioning; in deep meditation and prayer! In the end success or failure the buck stops here... I am Not opposed to using we.. but if you want  "WE", it's time to step up!
